Shopify Setup

Sync products and pages from any XML, JSON, or CSV feed directly into your Shopify store. Includes field mapping, scheduled syncs and full sync logs. Requires the IO package.

    Prerequisites

Shopify integration is locked behind the IO feature. Upgrade to unlock it.

    1. Install the WeblioHub Shopify app

Open Dashboard → Settings → Shopify. If the app is not installed yet, click 'Install on Store' — you'll be redirected to the Shopify App Store. Approve the requested scopes.

After approval, your store info (shop domain, name, email, scopes, install date) appears in the Shopify tab automatically. No API keys or secrets to enter — the access token is stored securely on our backend.

    2. Connect your source feed

    • URL feed — XML or JSON endpoint. Optional auth: bearer, basic, api-key.
    • File upload — CSV or XLSX uploaded to our secure storage and parsed client-side.

    3. Fetch fields

Click 'Fetch Fields' — we read the first item of your source and extract every available field path. These become the available source keys for mapping.

    4. Map fields

For each Shopify field (product title, body_html, vendor, price, images, variants, metafields …) pick the matching key from your source. Custom metafields can be defined under the Custom Fields section.

    5. Run a sync

Click 'Sync now' to push items to Shopify in batches of 50, with 1 retry per item. Watch live progress and errors in the Sync Logs tab.

    6. Schedule recurring syncs

Set a daily/weekly schedule (UTC+3 friendly for Turkey). A pg_cron job runs in the background — you don't need to leave the dashboard open.

    Subscription note

If IO expires, scheduled syncs pause and the Shopify tab locks until renewal. Your stored field mappings and credentials are preserved.
